Renaissance: prologue

The humans have been at war for power, money and territory a long time. This led to the division of the world into four Great Empires namely The Northern Alliance, The Eastern Alliance, The Western Alliance and The Southern Alliance. There were a few independent kingdoms, however, but they were soon bound to be conquered by one of the Great Empires.

The Eastern Alliance, led by the kingdom of Scantron, was known for its strategic attacks and extraordinary military formations all around the world. Their “Spies” were the most fearful among all the Great Kingdoms. However, they severely lacked technological advancements. Had there been no technological advancements in the world, The Eastern Alliance would have had the upper-hand in each and every battle. Their strategies were formed by a genius nicknamed as The Athena.

Meanwhile, the Northern Alliance, led by the kingdom of Felinbergs, was going through a revolutionary change. Their technology increased rapidly and they went decades ahead in comparison to the other Great Empires. This had warned the Eastern Alliance, since technological advancements were their only drawback in terms of power and military. They had countless wars with the Northern Alliance but they were defeated each and every time. The Northern Alliance had conquered a major portion of the Eastern Alliance, robbed the peasants, burned the crops and official buildings, massacred women and children like little bugs and even made the genius strategist, The Athena, their prisoner.

18 years later… The kingdom of Scafftern, a small yet peaceful place somewhere in the far east of Eastern Alliance, was holding its recruitment exams for the Empire's military.

Nick Young, a 20 years old individual, with unnatural intellectual skills far greater than any average human achieved perfect scores in theoretical exams but barely managed to pass the physical exams. The higher-ups got curious and became interested about this individual. Thus, to test him out, they taught the basics of being a “spy” and sent him to infiltrate the Northern Alliance and capture back their lost territories…
